Uses

This medication is used to treat eczema. It reduces swelling, redness, and itching on the skin.

How to Use This Medication

Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start using crisaborole and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

This medication is for use on the skin only. Avoid getting this medication in the eyes, mouth, or vagina. If this occurs, rinse with plenty of water.

Wash and dry your hands before applying the medication, then clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin film of the medication to the affected area and gently rub in as directed by your doctor, usually 2 times daily. Your doctor may instruct you to reduce the number of times you use this medication once your eczema clears up. Consult your doctor for details.

After applying the medication, wash and dry your hands, unless you are using this medication to treat the hands.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time(s) each day.

Tell your doctor if your condition lasts or gets worse.
