Swiss Chard

Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch Swiss chard

  • 2 Tbs olive oil

  • 1 large clove garlic, chopped

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Kosher salt to taste

Flavorful greens prepared with just five ingredients.

Directions

  • Wash greens well and cut off and discard excess stems. Preheat skillet and add olive oil.
  • Add garlic and sauté until lightly browned and fragrant. Cut up greens and add to the skillet. Add salt and water.
  • Turn heat to high and place lid on pan. Cook for 5 minutes, covered, and then stir greens around and cook for another 5 minutes, covered. Remove lid and check for to see if they're done. If needed, continue to cook until tender.
