Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter

  • 2 1/4 cups bread flour

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar

  • 2 extra large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 12 oz package chocolate chips

Slightly crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt the butter in the microwave until half melted.
  • Sift the flour, salt, and baking soda together in a bowl; set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the sugars and butter; cream at medium speed until light in color and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time and continue to mix again until fluffy. Then add vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  • Slowly add the flour mixture a little at a time and just mix until well combined. Do not over mix.
  • Remove from mixer and fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Bake at 375°F until golden brown on an air-bake pan, without any non-stick sprays or oils for about 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
