This is to notify you that the following product is being recalled from the market:

Product Name: Host Defense MycoBotanicals Blood Sugar 60ct Capsules

Lot Numbers:

100217 Shipped 10/18/17 - 1/16/19

101718 Shipped 12/14/18 - 2/26/19

This recall has been initiated due to undeclared wheat. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of reaction if they consume this product.

The Cymnema sylvestre extract found in MycoBontanicals Blood Sugar lots 100217 and 101718 was found to have undeclared wheat. No other Host Defense products have been affected. In lot 101718, gluten has been found to be present at 24ppm; the FDA limit for product labeled as "gluten free" is lass than 20ppm. Lot 100217 tested non-detect for gluten but wheat is present in small quantities. It is vital that we remove these lots from the market due to the presence of this undeclared allergen. This recall is to the consumer level.

Please identify if you have any of the affected lots in your possession and return them to the retailer where they were purchased, or directly to Host Defense/Fungi Perfecti. You will be provided a full refund.
