Cashier

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Cashier at Clark's Nutrition, you are the first and last team member our customers see. You will be required to assist customers in accurately completing the checkout process while giving exceptional customer service to maximize customer satisfaction. Collecting payment, scanning items, bagging and giving appropriate change.

FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:

  • Accurately process sales transactions.
  • Accept cash, check & bankcards.
  • Provide change for cash payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the check stand area.
  • Maintain cleaning and bagging supplies in the check stand area.
  • Greet customers when entering and leaving the store.
  • Refer customers to the appropriate team member to answer queries and deal with any problems.
  • Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers.
  • Issue refunds.
  • Process returns and exchanges.
  • Ensure cash drawer has sufficient funds to operate.
  • Accurately and efficiently verify till balance at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Bag purchased product.
  • May be required to assist in other areas such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing and cleaning.
  • Ability to stay productive during down time and accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, and the ability to interact with our customers.
  • Be able to perform repetitious activities.
  • (Parting Gesture) carry outs, know when to request. (Can I get an employee to help you out? Water, heavy items,etc.)

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
  • Must have communication skills.
  • Must maintain a sense of integrity.
  • Ability to operate relevant electronic equipment. (Will be trained on job)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends and holidays.

Grocery Operations

Grocery associates are responsible for maintaining inventory control, which requires receiving and unpacking boxes and crates, stocking and restocking shelves, refrigerated sections and displays, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Associates are required to assist customers as needed and maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures cleanliness of store, storage area, and work area for safety; includes cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from floor and sweeping.
  • Stocks grocery department; includes presentation of product, facing, filing and organization of all product items as set by Store Management as well as ensuring tag and price accuracy.
  • Examines the rotation of all products paying particular attention to expired stock and discarding outdated or spoiled items.
  • Responds positively to customer's inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information and product selection
  • Receives and inspects products for accuracy of shipment , temperature, and quality
  • Requires operating and using equipment such as knives, balers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Sustains a high level of product knowledge.
  • Walks department regularly to ensure an organized, sanitary, and overall clean appearance at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.


Juice Bar Associate - Loma Linda Only

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Taking orders and serving customers
  • Preparing juices and smoothies according to recipes and customer requests
  • Washing, Storing, and Rotating fruits and vegetables
  • Checking dates and guarantee product quality and freshness
  • Maintain proper care and maintenance of equipment
  • Clean and maintain the juice bar area
  • Prepare a variety of food according to supervisor’s instructions, following approved procedures.
  • Perform kitchen maintenance; mopping floors, emptying trash, washing dishes.
  • Ensuring food is properly stored.
  • Following procedures mandated by the county of San Bernardino Health Department
  • Be able to multitask in a fast pace environment
  • Be able to work in a team environment

Previous experience with food preparation is preferred.

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.


Nutritional Consultant

JOB SUMMARY:

To educate and recommend products for our customers to be able to live a healthy lifestyle. Offering exceptional customer service while also building a long-standing relationship with our communities.

    FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:

  • Actively engage with customers.
  • Conduct exceptional customer service by providing customers with knowledge of our products and services.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with the company’s customers.
  • Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
  • Stocking daily deliveries
  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Shelf cleaning
  • Introducing promotions to customers

    REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Have a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends & holidays.
  • Be able to pass our in-house training program.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality capable of interacting with a variety of personalities.
  • Ability to read product labels and UPC codes.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Produce Associate
