Perfect Guacamole


  • 6 ripe avocados

  • 2 Tbs chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1 clove garlic, grated

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 1 jalapeño, ribs and seeds removed, finely chopped (optional)

This guacamole's perfect because it's simple—just four ingredients.


  • Cut avocados in half and remove core. Scope out the flesh with a spoon and add to a bowl.
  • Add fresh cilantro, garlic, lime juice, and jalapeño, if desired.
  • Mix well with a fork, mashing the flesh of the avocado. Serve immediately.
