Romano Cheesy Oven Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs russet potatoes

  • 1 Tbs olive oil

  • 2 Tbs grated Romano cheese

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Savor dinner with a side of these cheese fries—add rosemary for added flavor.

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Scrub potatoes with vegetable brush under cold running water. Cut lengthwise into ½-inch-wide strips.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with oil to coat.
  • Arrange potatoes in single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake 20 minutes, turn potatoes with spatula. Continue to bake until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes longer.
  • Turn fries into a large bowl. Add cheese and salt and toss well to coat.
