Baked Doughnuts With Chocolate Glaze

Makes 6 Doughnuts




1 ¼ C baking flour

1/3 C sugar

1 Tbsp tapioca

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda


¾ C coconut milk

2 ½ Tbsp coconut oil

1 Tbsp lemon juice

½ tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate glaze

2 Tbsp coconut oil

1 ½ Tbsp cocoa powder

1 Tbsp cacao butter

2 tsp maple syrup


  • Mix dry and wet ingredients separately, then add together and mix until incorporated.
  • Set your oven to 375 degrees, spray your doughnut baking sheet, place batter in a Ziploc then cut one of the tips, and pipe it into the molds on your doughnut pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Once baked remove from mods and place on to cooling rack.
  • For the chocolate glaze, place coconut oil and cocoa butter together in the microwave for 30-40 seconds, mix until melted. Add cocoa powder and maple syrup, mix until smooth.
  • Once the donut is cooled, dip the top into a shallow bowl with the chocolate glaze, and then let set. Repeat with remaining doughnuts, top with crushed roasted almonds or peanuts and coconut. Let sit in the fridge for about 10 min for the glaze to harden. Enjoy!
