Green Bean & Tangerine Salad

Green Bean & Tangerine Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

Serves 2



1 head Butter lettuce

½ bag green beans

½ a red onion

2 tangerines

¼ C candied pecans


3 Tbsp balsamic vinaigrette

2 Tbsp of water

2 Tbsp olive oil

2 tsp honey

1 tsp Dejon mustard

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper


  • Roughly chop your butter lettuce, set aside.
  • Place green beans in a lightly oiled pan with a splash of balsamic vinegar and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until slightly softened. You still want to maintain a little crunch.
  • Slice your red onion into thin strips.
  • Peel your tangerine and lightly toss with a little olive oil.
  • Toss all these ingredients in a bowl.
  • For the vinaigrette, place all ingredients in a small mason jar and shake well. Lightly pour over salad and serve with crushed candied pecans on top. Enjoy!
